 Sintered Ferrite Magnet

 

Sintered Ferrite Magnet is produced by sintered ceramic technology. The main compositions are SrO, BaO and Fe2O3. The ferrite magnets have very good corrosion resistant ability so no plating is needed for the magnets. With its competitive cost, the ferrite magnets can be an ideal substitute for NdFeB magnets if the volume is not to be considered. Its characteristics are as follows:Using the method of powder metallurgy production, low Relative Recoil Permeability, small magnetic permeability recovery. The coercive force is larger, and the magnetic circuit structure of the magnetic circuit is suitable for the dynamic working condition.Hard and brittle material, can be used for diamond tools for cutting.

According to different processing technology , it can be divided into isotropic and anisotropic. Isotropic magnet has lower property, but it can  be magnetized through to every side of magnet; anisotropic magnet has higher property, but they only can magnetize through predesigned magnet size.
